Do I need to create an account?

No. Create a game, share the link, and start playing - there are no accounts, emails, or logins.

Do I need special hardware?

Just a webcam. A top-down or over-the-shoulder angle with even lighting gives the best detection results.

Which decklist sources are supported?

Moxfield, Archidekt, and MTGGoldfish. Importing a list makes detection faster and more accurate, but is optional.

Is this affiliated with Wizards of the Coast?

No. cardcast.gg is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy and is not approved or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
